Personal Greeting

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” 1John3.16

We have each laid down our lives for the children of Namibia whether by going, giving or praying. Recently, someone asked me how I got to Namibia and as I recounted the story I was reminded of God’s call on my life.  And then because of the call on my life to “go”, your life has been affected to participate with finances, prayer and service.  Each part of the body is equally important.  I remain humbled and grateful for the love, trust and sacrifice that engulfs me and all those we serve. I know that we cannot out give God and that He knows the heart of each giver.  “You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2Corinthians9.11.  I thank God for you and pray an abundance of blessings on your life as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

What’s Next

  • Summer holiday is here!  The children and families will disperse to visit extended family and friends.  Those remaining at home are minimal though my family is one staying put.

Specific Needs

The Grahams are in court on December 5th prayerfully to hear a conclusion to the saga of the San children.  The court date keeps getting postponed as the government works on the case. As indicated in my last report prayer and financial support is needed.  Donations can be sent to His Promise Ministries, 1106 Old Mill Run, Deland, Florida 32720.  Mark the check: San Children  We need good, qualified staff for the 2013

school year.  Finding teachers who are willing to move to Arandis is proving quite challenging.  Toivo needs funding for his second term sophomore year at Presbyterian College.  If you are interested in helping please contact me directly ASAP at bgaylejohnst@msn.com.  Annetjie and Sannetjie continue to challenge themselves, Ute and the ministry.  Please pray for safety over them. Victoria, Toivo’s younger sister is expecting a child around Christmas – may she and the child be healthy. May God watch over Charmaine taking care of her mentally, physically and emotionally. As we wait on the Lord for funds to complete the two Montessori classrooms may He touch the hearts of local contractors to help us.

Thanksgivings

  • New volunteers are on the horizon for 2013.
