Personal Greeting

May God’s Will be done!  We so often say this phrase and from time to time I ask myself do I truly wait on Him to be sure that His will is being done.  We are on a cusp of change in the ministry and most days are not sure from day to day what will come next.  However, God is faithful and if He doesn’t speak to all of us at the same time indeed He speaks.  My family and I thank you that you continue to support us in prayer, finances and love.  After 14.5 years of serving God in Namibia, I know without a doubt that I could not do it without you. May He rain blessing on you.

What’s Next

  • After much prayer a decision has been made to keep TKCA open after Ms. Nan’s departure at the end of 2013.  We will be exploring our five year plan however for 2014 we will continue to serve the children in grades 1-7.
  • Our kindergarten and pre-school will continue in Arandis as well.
  • 2014 will be used as a year of preparation for our families to adjust to changes that will occur at the end of 2014.
  • The Board has decided that our Ministry Center and Cluster Foster Care will move from Arandis to Rehoboth by the end of 2014.
  • Ahead of us is decisions about staff.  Our newest classrooms still need a roof before the beginning of the 2014 school year.  We anticipate using these classrooms to expand the approach of teaching to include some Montessori methods for grades kindergarten – 3rd grade.
  • Our children in Rehoboth in grades 1-10 will start to attend the Rehoboth Private School with the start of the new school year. This is a new school founded with the same basic vision and mission of TKCA.

Specific Needs

stefanus-aug-2013Elizabeth continues to be challenged by her health especially as it concerns her stump. With a decision made for the 2014 school year we need God’s wisdom as we consider leadership, teachers and office staff.

As we continue to assist Raymond with a viable future as an entrepreneur we pray that God will go before us in the planning.  One possibility is for him to start a small business teaching the computer.

Personally, I am asking for prayer for Stefanus.  This child of God has a heart for Jesus and is somehow stuck between the ages of 5-7 emotionally.  Pray that Jesus will meet him where he is with a peace and healing that only Jesus can provide.

Sylvia and Richard are struggling with a few health issues.  May God grant them grace and provide answers through their medical providers.

Ms. Jackie’s 6 year old son is going to Cape Town for a heart operation.  This is his 2nd or 3rd heart operation.
