Hello from Namibia!
“In all hard work there is profit, but merely talking about it only brings poverty.” ~Proverbs 14:23
This verse was the basis for my lesson to the children in our ministry on Friday afternoon. We brought all of our children that we have in Arandis (62 + onlookers) together on Friday in the Town Hall (multi-purpose building). We worshipped, prayed, played together, and memorized that verse – which I hope sticks with them for the rest of their lives. Read the rest of this entry

Hello from Namibia!
We have been doing our best to keep you up-to-date about the saga of Sululu and the 10 children. As mentioned in our newsletter, she recently surrendered them to us to be put into foster families because she can no longer take care of them. They range from ages 8 – 18.

We have moved as quickly as possible (sometimes in Africa that means “ very slowly”), and have now placed the 7 youngest into foster families. Soon, we will have a mom moving from Windhoek to Arandis to take care of the oldest 3, because they are not ready to be on their own. This is a HUGE answer to prayer, but the most difficult days are ahead of us. We have done this in faith that God will provide, and we know He will.
So, we are asking for help. We really have a need for sponsors for all 10 children as soon as possible.
Please see the attachment, which will tell you all about the children and our sponsorship program.
Though we are obviously putting out a call for financial help with these children, I am MUCH more interested in prayer support for them. They are in great need still, and not out of the pit quite yet. They NEED God’s help, and His touch to heal them of all their personal pain from past abuse and neglect. Thank you in advance for standing with us in this.
If you have ANY questions, please let me know!
Love and Blessings!
